Looks like the Ponderosa in North Wales is shut all week because of the snow, but they're hoping to be back up and running on Friday. I was out there in the car on Sunday and you couldn't even get beyond the crossroads at Pen-y-Stryt, let alone to the turn-off for the Horseshoe Pass. According to the BBC right now (10 am on Tuesday) the Horseshoe Pass itself is open, but the Llanberis Pass and the Denbigh Moors road are both still blocked by snow.
We're staying at Ruthin for Easter so might have a scamper up there if it's open. We're been soft though and going in the car. Say Hi if you see me, I'll be the tall, ugly one in a red peugeot taking pictures of the bikes
yeah may look into that....... only bit i "detest" is all the motorway bit before getting there
so if there is another option i may have to get me map out and seee....
