Had a lovely ride out, Broxton for a brew then to the ponderosa for chips and a can of pop. Sat watching the bikes come and go while the sun was shining down. A lovely day.
14 hours in the saddle, ran out of petrol once (almost twice - you'd think I'd learn), 360 miles mostly in glorious sunshine but finishing in darkness. Brilliant day with the best of company. Tell you more later, totally shattered now and have to R-V back at Helmsley with Party go-ers for ride back to Scotland.
Well stripped the electrics on my old XV 700, whom ever wired it must like the look of spaghetti, waiting for new one off handlebars to be delivered and a bloke to come help me with the mess of wiring hopefully this time next week it will be alive again...
Tonight been for a fantastic 100miles over Blair Atholl over the back roads and back, there are some great roads that no one unless you live here...
My first run out in the south on my own... up to H-Café for a cuppa and a bun and then back getting lost and ending up in Reading in rush hour traffic.... great!!! pmsl
I drove to Nottingham motorbike test centre, and had a practice on the MOD1 circuit, I did quite well but I must remember to breathe when riding each exercise!! Lol
