Oh bugger that V...just go with the flow. I'm on post adolescent/pubescent/ new bloody-know-it-all daughter #3...boyfriend arrived yesterday to stay for the week (my bedroom is underneath eeks!!!) Lots of crashes and bangs last night, but not of the passionate nature....more bodies falling out of her single bed!!! Today I just gave em the double airbed and a pump to blow it up....get on with it I say....god anything for a quiet life!! (but keep the squeeking down please)

forgot to add a cos the boyfriend definitely passes muster He is a complete petrol head and is either raving about the noise made by the screamin eagles on my bike or twittering to daughter #1 about mini coopers I have also now sampled 3 bottles of the Belgian beer dowry and am very 'mellow'

Looking out of my window, to see a couple of Goldfinches First time this year that they've been back to my garden I've left some giant thistles to tempt them and it's worked One was helping itself to the niger seed from the feeder When it decided to join its friend Who was busy destroying a thistle head They really are a spectacular looking bird One of nature's most colourful creatures Just waiting for the woodpecker to make a return visit now

Its taken 21/2 years lots of frustration but finally today got on my bike (that I have had almost a year) and rode it for the first time and enjoyed it ....Another first since my off in 2010.... Onwards and upwards now

Just come back from the hospital and mum has been moved out of HDU and onto a ward (next she will be complaining too much noise from people talking) thats when I will know she's on the mend Lovely pic centurion
