Cheers Guys.....thoughts go out to everyone else on here that is suffering with their health......hang on in there, stay positive life does get easier & the open road is out there waiting for you!
Figuring out which program had snuck into my laptop and was underlining/linking various key words in all applications to enable me to "win an iPhone". Removed it with all it's various guises and I'm back to normal (well, as normal as I was before lol).
Go me!
well, how embarassing! I've been posting my "what made me happy" comments on TOTALLY the wrong thread! Doh! (MUST got to specsavers!)
Feel a right 'nana... still it DID make me smile!
Apart from that - there are 2 things that made me smile today : 1) I spent the day with one of my bestest female friends (been friends since 1984!) and 2) when I logged on this evening, I had a message in my "communicator" ! Whoop! WHoop! lol
Don't go to Specsavers Shell, they cocked up my eye test TWICE, gave me the wrong prescription for my glasses and I was getting headaches. Only discovered their error when I went back and said the glasses are giving me a headache.
My smile, not a very big thing that caused it, I had my loft insulated today, I'm hoping it makes a difference come this winter and that the house is warmer and my bills lower.
Ooh, that reminds me - someone said I should ask about loft insulation! (will add to my list!) Hope it DOES reduce bills and increase warmth for you Sandi.
As for me...so far today has had quite a few smiles!
The main one is that I finally decided to get a self-inflating camping mattress so I can (hopefully) pack all my camping stuff onto the back of my beloved bike without too much extra weight or bulk... and also smiling (sad this one! lol) because Tesco were doing a brilliant deal on Fairy washing gel and Simple face wipes - so - duly "stocked up" for a few months! lol
Sun is shining too, AND my washing is almost dry, AND I've managed to stick to my diet!
PLUS.. it's only 3pm ! LOADS more smiles potential ahead!
I was coming on here to say my 23 yr old FZ750 just flew through it's mot (big smile on my face)....Now reading Shellshines posts makes me smile even more, a true BM nutjob, god bless her cotton socks.
smile, coasting up to front gate, trip miles on tiger9 clicks back to 000.0....one thousand miles total, without counting broken speedo cable for two days, don't know how many there....epic memories all through week, and thank you my lady...............!!!
Getting out on my Hattie has made me smile mahooooosively this evening! New lid, new gloves and new Kevlar jeans were all perfect! Lud now covered in dead bugs , but OH the grin factor! :o). Very big smiley styley day!
