Discovering my cat has a huge abcess on his head and needed an rush trip to the vets and then the vet telling me it could have been caused by an airgun pellet but also could be a bite from another cat but it's the only puncture wound.
Good news is it was about 3 days ago and he's not showing any signs of infection in his system so I've to bathe it several times a day, assist in the pus drainage and he's got an antibiotic injection lasting 2 weeks.
Opening the parcel that arrived a couple of days back expecting to find a new set of downpipes for the XJ600 and discovering I'd been sent a set of 4 into 1s!! Deffo ordered a set of pattern 4 into 2 pipes to fit the Yam silencers. Can't contact the seller before Mon, and if he wants me to pay the return I ain't gonna be happy.
Roachy, I hope your cat is a good patient - don 't want you to end up on antibiotics too!
Awww - RC - Big hugs for ya hun I had to go through that a few years ago with my Rotty. It's not nice I know - but you'll get through it..just remember the fun times (cliche I know!)
Real sorry to hear that RC......All the dogs i've had over the years are gone now...but only in a physical sense......there all still very much with me in spirit n memories......right this second. Stay strong me dear...

Its hard, cos they are literally one of the family.
My dog is 14, but still thinks he's 5! bounces around like a puppy, but he's deaf and goin blind... hes a daft bugga but i aint half gonna miss him when hes not around.
Least yr lad aint suffering now, chick.

Oh be reasonable XK. If I wasn’t ranting on a regular basis, you lot’d think something was up and some bright spark would dial 999, then they’d come and break my door down and the paramedic would try to give me the kiss of life when I’m only dozing on my beanbag, I’d knee him in the nether regions for being so bleddy forward and get arrested for assault, he’d fly back and bash his head on the stairs and they’d up the charge to GBH, but I’d get off on a technicality on account of not being permitted my online ranting therapy and I’ll think I'm in the clear until the civil court case when I’ll end up having to sell my house to pay the compo bill for the geezer’s bumped bonce and me and the cats will have to live in the Ka and eat only what I can hunt & catch cos they’re too old and lazy these days to bother and I’ll turn up at a BM meet and the FFS girls will throw me out for being full of shite and never buying a 125 and then I’ll be burned at the stake for the heresy of turning up in a 4 wheeled vehicle…
Whilst many would love to see the above come to pass, spare a thought for my poor old Mum eh and indulge/ignore my rantings? ;o)
