Went for a ride upto Hartside pass today and to my utter delight, the cafe' was open [normaly closed for winter] I had a cuppa and a craic with a geordie blade rider. He was in his sixties but his back tyre was scrubbed off to both edges,,, respect. Unfortunately there was no view into the beautiful eden valley coz the cloud base was at 1500 feet and the road is at 1900 feet. I love my county. feel sorry for all you poor buggers that live in the flatlands...Dusty...

Yeah bobcat, You think he's cute now but just wait . I dare not turn my back on my boy. I once put my dinner on the table then went back to the kitchen to get some sauce. I returned to find that he had nicked my chop. I couldn't stop laughing. He had taken it to his bowl and was purring loudly as he tucked into it...Dusty...

BOBKAT - my cat Paddy used to bring home takeaways in the form of sachets of unopened cat food that he had been nicking from someones kitchen or shed! He used to trot up the drive as proud as punch with the sachet hanging from his mouth then proceed to rip into it until he had eaten the lot! This went on everyday for a fortnight - we never did find out where he got them from but I think they must have caught him out as it hasnt happened for a few months now! x

Davidneale if I thought for one minute that Harleybean would perform on demand I would be on that phone lol - but he is a twister and wouldn't do it .......... Dusty how kind are you to kitties when you did go mental at the catnapping of you chop they are such character aren't they ShazzaP that is hilarious, the original cat burglar for sachets of cat food, think of the pennies you could save if he finds another source. My mum had a ratty old rescue cat called scooter and he was such a thief, once our neighbour across the path had left two bits of fresh fish on a plate on the work top, ready to breadcrumb and fry - beside it was a dish of whisked up egg to dip the fish in - YES you guessed it Scooter, lapped up the egg and dragged a bit of the fish out kitchen and had the bloody cheek to climb onto THIER couch to munch it - superb luckily they were very fond of the cat hehehe ANYWAY hehe........ happy and smiling today because my MCN Skegness confirmation has just dropped through the letter box

My neighbour is feeling much better, but is still very battered and bruised. I shall be assisting her with her claim against the Highways department and for the scare and trauma caused, I hope she gets a much deserved payout.
