2 things got me giggling today:
* driving in the sunshine along snow lined country roads. Everything looking all Xmas card-y. A perfectly framed vista with tracks heading into the distance.....and amongst all the white/brown one dot of bright red in the distance a la Constable. Aaaw..it made me feel all mellow..till I got close enough to realise that Constable's "red dot" was actually a doggy-do bin.
*Later in the bank I was checking thro a statement with a bank clerk. She said " Ooh, this direct debit. Do you know a butler?" Realised that she had imagined "Total Butler" (my oil supplier) to be some kind of kinky home-help!! In my dreams
My dad used to sing songs to me when mum wasnt around,this one came into my head this eve fer some reason altho he sung about three its the same song...but wiv seven...

What's making me smile..
Being on the Smiley thread! Smiling!! Absolutely NOTHING is going to happen today to make me cry... Minx has a little bit of colour back in her cheeks and I have so many wonderful lush friends in here that the "dark side" just doesn't stand a chance!
What made me smile today? I woke to find this joke on my mobile... The government have warned that anyone travelling in the current wintry conditions should take the following: shovel, blankets/sleeping bag, extra clothing - especially a hat and gloves - a supply of food and water, de-icer, rock salt, petrol can, tow rope, safety triangle, torch with spare batteries, first aid kit and jump leads. I looked a proper pillock on the bus this morning!

Getting home from work earlier than expected and having the chance to get my BMW ignition sorted out this weekend.
I wouldn't mind a ride out tomorrow.
It is beautiful Purplebetty....a place called Avebury in Wiltshire...it's a neolithic henge monument containing three stone circles...one of which is the largest in Europe...

Have had tonnes of smiley minxy lushness today.. sitting steaming windows up in Emma's car at the seaside.. eating seriously awful hotdogs.. indulging Minx a little.. hot mocha's.. hugs hello and hugs goodbye... Lushly smiley day
Agreeing that Im overprotective and letting Minx travel back with Em's (42miles) and stay till Tuesday.. Hmmmm... trying to smile lol xx
