It's brilliant to hear that everyone is gradually getting things right on the road to happiness
Today I finally picked up my new vito (well new to me) from Swindon.
I looked at this van at the end of November and decided to buy it, but when I went to insure it I was told it was not showing on the data base so they could not insure it. I had done my own checks and it came back as all OK. I was dealing with the guys brother in Swindon but talking to the owner in Thailand, who was visiting his sick girl friend. He was talking to the original Mercedes supplier and DVLA via his Blackberry, plus his brother and me on email. Very complicated I know but the van was such a good deal I had to stick with it to see what happened. It turned out that at some point after the original sale DVLA changed the model from a 111 CDI to a C200 which is a saloon car and that is why it did not show on the data base. Well it got sorted this week and I now have the van plus he knocked £500m off, I am well pleased.
Now my reason for getting another van when I had a perfectly good one is down to the London emission zone regs. for January 2012. I think this will have to go on the "Random rant" thread.
getting two more crappy bits of news before the end of the year so hopefully won't have any after 31st
out with the old and in with the new - starting one of my new year resolutions already and listing stuff on ebay
hopefully having a plan that will probably back fire but it's worth a go but will sacrifice getting my bike - the positive here is if it works am a step nearer to getting my life back - lots to smile about

XK I don't know where my "m" came from in £500m. It was either a slip of the finger or wishful thinking. Van was only £4000. That means the guy owes me £499,996,000, that would be a good deal!
Going ice skating at the Eden Project with 2 x 10 yr old girls as their xmas pressie... and having a (mock) contest to see who would knock the most people over! I won!!! Mwhahahaha...
