I am smiling form ear to ear and nothing in this world can take it away..My dad will be well enough to come home from hospital next week!!!! It has been the best news i could ever receive. After 14 weeks in hospital, as loads of you know, touch and go sooo many times, and against all odds from the specialists, he has continued to fight and survive!!
I want to take this opportunity to thank all my sincere friends on here who, through words, love and just being there, have given me the strength to cope throughout....Ya know i luvs ya all very much, and whenever i can return the favour, consider it done!! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Indeed it is andy...as a parent carer myself, i empathise perfectly with where wenders is coming from and must admit, that whilst i don't know her well enough to do so, i offer her a massive warm icey hug. What a great way (his return) to bring in the new year.
Wishing you a lovely day andy. Hope the weather is kind on you and the bargains kind on your wallet..lol. Safe journeys.
What made me smile...
..having a truly splendid time yesterday taking my wheelchair bound mother and dementure hit step-father to tewksbury abby. Just the look on her face as she progressed to a little girl looking up in awe at the magnificent ceiling from her wheelchair. Her! smiles and happiness of submitance to a knowledge that there is a higher plane awaiting her where there is no pain, was for me, worth more than money could buy and for her, more than medication could induce. [/sentimental old fool]
Readin through the posts on here of the past couple of days has certainly put a smile on my face. That really is good news wenders, and for the others too.
Great news Wenders
My smile, like many others, was caused by reading this thread- it's so good to know others are smiling, especially as this time of year can be stressful.
<<<< pass it on >>>>
