My Xmas doesn't look so bad now. After 10 months unemployed, I just gotta job! The only down side is that I've just found out I have diabetes. The quack says I can only have two glasses of beer per day. Mind, he didn't say what size glass

Driving me old mum back from a hospital appt this evening, this conversation ensued when she spotted a jogger in hi-vis:

mum "Joggers shouldn't be allowed out this time of night" (5:30!!)

me "what about that man walking his dog then?"

mum "well we never had to fuss like that with a dog.They didn't sh*t as much in my day "

My ancient washing machine (25 years and counting!) finally collapsed in a heap last Saturday , so I went to a small local family firm on Monday morning and ordered a new one. It was delivered, installed and the old one taken away at 8.30 this morning ....all free of charge..............and all with a smile.....great start to the day!

Just been tagging photos from Pots b'day bash last friday....didn't just make me smile...been hooting laughing. Can't think of a nuttier bunch to stay in a premier in with...superb time and can't wait to see em all again lol

Reading the recipe for the meal requested for tonight, and seeing 'a splash of red wine'. I opened the bottle (to breathe) 40 minutes ago . . . . . Oops . . think I better go get another bottle for the food!!
