My daughter coming home 2 weeks early from Scotland and giving me the hugest kiss and cuddle...had to tell her to get off my knee tho coz she gave me a dead leg lol

Only problem is now she's nicked my laptop, banned me from leaving her and turned my laundry room back into her bedroom so my house is now looking like a Chinese laundry again...

Ah well at least son won't have to ring me at work to ask how to open a can of beans nor be late for school coz he went back to sleep after I got him up at 6am... Sheesh I need another holiday now lol!

Oh happy days :-) new ward is ACE too so I'm a very knackered but happy bunny :-) xx

I missed the delivery guy this morning, but he stopped by on his way back to the depot with son's new helmet

'course.. once son got home it was 'can we go round the block?'.
Got back an hour later, two happy bunnies.. yeh.

A patient asking me where his tv remote had gone and when I pointed it out still attached to the tv he wanted to know hoe come he didn't see it.... I tried to explain (abysmally) that even tho he knows what he's looking at his brain isn't able to recognize what it is and fails to put 2 and 2 together... His reply was 'what ur trying to say is that I'm confused but what's ur excuse?' I just laughed and walked away promptly forgetting what I was supposed to be doing... Ooops! Lol

Going to Skegness for a bag a chips after meeting up with some BM members that were camping in Friskney. Sad that we couldn't camp this weekend - babysitter could only do til 8! - but very happy to have a least made it for a chat and a catch up!

As some of you know, I'm in the process of leaving the house I've been sharing with the ex and moving back in with mum and dad -

Despite the fact I couldn't go on living as I have, I had been very apprehensive about moving home,

Today, I unpacked the first vanload of stuff, setup my units and unpacked a lot of my stuff into my old room,

When I'd finished, it felt homely and cosy again, and i knew i'd made the right decision.

that made me feel good for the first time in a long time.

Sorting through the pics of this weekend ...

Even with a plaster on & not being able to camp we had a fab time , caught up with old friends & made lots of new ones ...

Absolutely nuts night laughing and dancing at theTan Hill Inn with Geordielass & madhat, watching bessie and the zinc buckets and meeting loads of new peeps. It was a gorgeous night up there last night clear sky, great big yellow moon and very close to the stars....but no werewolves, phew

I realised years ago that family also applies to the friends that become your sisters...right now my kid 'sister' is holding her daughters hand whilst she gives birth to my daughters nephew... Dont think I've felt so nervous in a long time xx
