Nah - I don't like to wish ill on anybody... I'm a great believer in putting "out there" what you'd like to receive back... it seems to work pretty well too.
Besides, nobody is ALL bad... give them enough chances and wait long enough, the good stuff bubbles to the surface sooner or later ;o)
When I went down south last weekend, the cat stayed with a friend. It began badly. Cat did not want to go into her basket, and put up a ferocious rearguard action. Much blood spilled (mine) and a couple of days later I was on antibiotics as one of the wounds was festering. No matter. Linda's a real cat person and if anyone can soothe the beast it's her. Now we're a week down the line. Cat has hidden under Linda's bath. She'll let me tickle her chin and scratch her ear (the cat, that is)...but she will not come out. There are far too many things for the cat to grab on to, and attempts to seize the beast are met with hissing and growling. In the dead of night we know she's coming out to eat and excrete, but short of rigging up a motion detector and waiting protected by a pair of old bike gloves, I don't know what to do. All suggestions gratefully received. Anyone got a Jack Russell that wouldn't mind getting a bloody nose?
PML @ suggestions re: Martin's cat, he's trying to retrieve her not flippin kill her off. Get her a Tom, that may do the trick
