A phone call from mum saying she has been called cos my wedding dress is ready (they had her number so Ian didn't answer the phone and get any hints by mistake) She has seen it & says its beautiful (those on FB already know which one I chose) so no need for the reserve choice lol
I know its still 10 months off but I really did not want to miss out on the style & they all seem to be going very puff bally for next year ...
after months of dithering, taking the scary step of cashing in a pathetic endowment last week....sheesh glad I didn't leave it till this week...hmm I think a new starter motor was written in the stars, ooh and some bike lessons too...sod the kids' inheritance!
The reaction to the video of last weekends Borwick trip, sums up what this site is all about.http://youtu.be/TdLwBFfK_FE If you wish to view it you may have to paste the above into your browser line.

My next door but one neighbours are really into the Scouting movement and have been camping in the lakes with some Danish scout group. They have Danish people for home visits after camp and before they go home to Denmark as part of a friendship building thing. My bike Honda CBF600 was outside, with my Friends 883 Sportster. Neighbour and the Danish lady were having a real good look at the bikes. I went out and was introduced to Danish lady, who told me she had a CBF like mine in Denmark. Lots of Bike talk followed and then the Sportster got some attention. There was a moments lull in the conversation and she said she new a rhyme about Harleys. So delivered in a lovely Danish accent, we got,
Buy a Harley, Ride the best, Ride a mile, and walk, the rest.
Apologies to HD owners on here and it may be known by some others. I had'nt heard it before, and the accent made it funnier. My mate was not as amused!
