Oh I love you girls you make me feel normal ! I thought it was just me who when told to get off did - forgetting to put the side stand down though - whoops !!
I also found how to find reverse......stall the bike on a steep gradient and forget to apply the brake.....only recommended if there is a nice large clump of ferns to land on! (Oh and your instructor may be incapacitated for a fair few minutes due to laughing at you)
I had a friend stall up a hill on his RD50 (many years ago it was brand new!)...he didn't realise you had to change downnto keep momentum up ?? took me ages to realise where he had gone to! Went back to find him pushing it up the hill!! Lol
Spending hours working with my son on his bike only to get it sorted and running only to find out a water pump seal has failed and dumped water into the oil. That will be a strip down again

Well done Binkie :) but does it really make you so sad you have to post in this thread? LOL Hardest thing about the cbt is the slow control and u turns so practice them and you will be fine :) x
Haha! Sorry thought I saw sad or happy?? What makes me sad lulu is waiting for another 2weeks before I can get my bike & my dad being too far away to teach me his wisdom )-;
Aww Binkie that is depressing love :) But at least you know your bike is on its way and you will have good training from someone you trust even if its by email or phone...? Perhaps he knows someone near you who can help.. :) When I was learning I had a friend teach me the basics but really it took a good instructor (bike cop) to take me through every single thing that you may come across when learning, so check out a good instructor via word of mouth x :)
Driving south, out of Scotland, and seeing the bikes heading north to Thunder in the Glens. Not that I'd planned to go or anything, just being in a tin box instead of on two wheels myself.
Aww nevermind izz-ster, at least you were moving! Unlike me trying to get out of Nottingham today, I truly believe that EVERY vehicle in the UK was in around Gregory Boulevard today! Grrr!
