Poor bugger. 6to 8 weeks to heal and her birthday is Xmas day xx
Due to injury Gill has demanded the right to choose this weekends menu .
So,,, tomorrow will be cauliflower cheese followed by sticky toffee pudding with chopped rather than pureed dates

Sorry to hear of the injury, Ouch indeed. Wishes for a speedy recovery on the way North.

Oh, Dustin just wondering how much caterers cost these days, cos im sure you wouldnt want to lower yourself to do 'women's work'...
Or has the new woman changed your whole outlook on life?!

By the way, put some clothes on man! Its too chilly to be lazing around undressed.

@RB, these may help ...**hands over a couple of warm blankets** make sure you keep ma, nice n toasty! Hope it gets sorted very soon.

Sour grapes - at least that's what I'm taking it as, which is probably overly generous on my part.

Hiya GBNP, thankyou for your kind thoughts, and no thanks for your bitchy ones lol.

Cooking is a major hobby of mine . My dad taught me. He learned in the Royal Navy during WW II .

I've known my new woman since 1968.

Women's work??? I have absolutely no idea what that could be . As far as I'm aware . The only thing that is strictly female only is giving birth.

I have a daughter. I did not bring her up to believe that women were in any way 2nd class human beings.

Of course, with Em being a modern woman she assured me that women are far superior to men in any possible way. Lol.

Knowing I didn't have much work to do this afternoon, I asked the boss if I could sneak off on a test ride on the Tiger 1050 Sport and when it was time the sales rep told me the demo bike keeps cutting out.

Oh, heavens above, Alli, I'm so sorry to hear about that. That's awful. I hope your daughter recovers as soon as possible from the tragedy. It's easy for me to say "My thoughts are with you and your family", but they are. It's no consolation to you, but... they are.

Double puncture on the M1 at 4am this morning. With a load on as well..to top it off the spare is flat as well :-(

Result i am now sitting waiting for tyre place to open after being recovered and i am down a job as the load will have to be sent on by another van...

Dreading what we will find when we check the remaining tyres.
