Going to see my son, and watching the lads marching all over because they have to! Even one handed marches when they have to carry shopping (in their left hand) Was a treat to see
Yesterday...while waiting for a bus.
An elderly lady (83) called Eileen started a conversation with me, altho she has dodgy legs, and lungs, and failing eyesight she was still as sharp as a knife and very entertaining. She told me that her and her husband used to own a food store and one day, while she was just about to sit down and eat her lunch, a customer came into the shop and asked if they had anything for diarrhoea. Eileen asked the customer 'have you tried Bisto gravy ?' the customer asked 'will that cure my diarrhoea?' 'No, said Eileen, but it might thicken it'
She had me laughing the whole 20 minute journey and brightened my morning.
