Going to surgeon in shrewsbury hospital this afternoon about the hole that has appeared in my left knee, the not so injured one, to be told i have to go back to stoke hospital tomorrow to have surgery on both knees as they both have serious infections!!! My good knee, left one has got a big hole in it now cos they have never cleaned out the gravel rash injury and apparently they now tell me must have gravel in and my bodies own defence is to open up to try to expell said foreign object. My right knee, the one i have had 2 ops on and a skin graft has got infected as graft is difficult on a moving joint and the graft has come away around all of one side leaving a gaping big open wound that you can see the infection growing out of it, tis gruesome, and apparently shrewsbury hospital dont have the capabilities to perform the op necessary to once again try and save my leg!!! Ive had enough!!!!
Hearing the sad loss of a neighbour Karen (31), who was missing for a few days and found lifeless in a field. Whole of Burscough community deeply saddened by this. I know her eldest child (10) and nephew. Don't know what to say when I see them. Don't know how to help.
Hearing that the son of someone I knew ages back was one of the dead in the Egyptian balloon accident. We'd lost touch ages ago, but it still comes as a shock.

Thinking of you newbikerchick and know what you are going thro as I lost me mum suddenly in March last year and was with me dad when he died 3 months later
