Crimmy, my father was an absent father, bullied my mother, was a serial adulterer, and almost bankrupted the family twice living a secret life. Even his own sister will have nothing to do with him. My mother, also disabled, always took him back - which is why we're all stuck with him because we look after my mother.
And after all that I often catch him whispering on the phone to his ex-lover. He's despicable and unlovely. At 80 he's had a good innings. He doesn't deserve your 'shocked' emoticon.
its interesting to see how my ex will end up SS...because you just described him precisely!
i do think you reap what you sow and in ur dads case the fact that hes lied cheated and bullied his way thru life is coming back on him now. but think we are back to the baggage thing.....your mam obviously loves him or maybe she just wants to keep the familiar round her. that does mean you have to like him or have any respect for the way he has behaved.....im only that you even bother!
Is totally disgusted at the woman who spat and it nearly hit my 8 year old son outside the hospital tonight, do not care if its "her religion" ...... dirty vile cow...... and she was shocked cause I called her a dirty bitch ?
Totally agree, Beanz. I hate all spitting in public, esp in sport where kids can emulate their heroes. I can remember when spitting in public was illegal because of the risk of spreading TB. (yeah..I know I'm an old git )
Hope your son was not upset by it and also that your trip to hosp had a happy outcome x
Spitting is sometimes a necessary evil - who hasn't had an insect propel itself into the back of their throat?
What I really object to are those foul plebs that hawk up a big wad of green snot or lung butter and lovingly propel it wherever they may be. In Singapore they are roundly whipped with bamboo canes - I'd like to see that done here.
