Think it's a bit sad that there are no posts in the Happy Thread or the Reasons to be Cheerful Thread... Hoping its because you are all so damn lush and happy and out and about that you don't actually have time to tell anyone why you are positive or happy!
Hugs for Sandra again and for ANYONE else that needs them.. xxx
Sitting in two A & E departments (the x-ray department had already closed for the night in the 1st one) for 4 hours last night waiting for somebody to get their bust shoulder seen to, a result of coming off a horse, not a bike!
Today it will be 29 years since my brother was killed As usual I went up to the cemetery to take some flowers. Went on the bike so I had a little run out and bloomin' jobsworth wouldn't even let me through the gates to the car park (which is just round the corner from the gate)! I can understand them not wanting bikes razzing through a cemetery but not to even let me in to the car park is a bit much. It happened once before and I complained and got an apology but this time the guy was soooo extremely rude. Just no need
I mean, do I look like a hooligan in my pink helmet???
Thats so bad HRC I would go mad, a very firm letter needs to be sent and demand a big sorry from them.
I dont use a car ride my bikes most of the year for shopping business and social, including trips to the cemetery, luckily nothing has ever been said to me.
Do they still think that someone visiting on a bike is going to trash the place.
be good to get the apology then post it on here, name and shame them
All I wanted to do was leave the bike in the car park, quite happy to walk to the grave as it's a nice little walk. There weren't any cars in the car park either, so not as if there wasn't any room. They all drive up as close to the graves as they can get!
Left the bike on the pavement outside and the lady selling flowers said she was happy to keep an eye on it for me. Will be phoning up the council tomorrow
Good on you HRC as bikers we are not 2nd class people and so should not deserve to be treated as such, would someone be turned away in their car, even if was an old wreck??? I think not.
go get em,,
