Used the bike to go to work today, 1st time since I passed in Feb that I have gone solo on it in rush hour traffic & on a motorway, even filtered too ... made it tho

Also..yesterday ...getting home from an 11 hour day to find my son had cooked my tea, had a cuppa waiting for me.. and had hoovered all the stairs and landing!!! ... still trying to find what hes broken/done/going to do?!?!
you pair are so cynical... can't us boys just do summat out of nothing more than love???
bet you'd think i'd been up to summat if i was your fella and i turned up with big bunch of flowers and big box of choccies wouldn't you??
Made it to work & back again today , am starting to know I am riding for 2 hours a day tho , well today was 3 hours as I had to go see my son,
Nawe ... kids are different to men, especially male ones, as a mom of boys 22 & 20 & almost step sons 19 & 16 .. I have plenty of experience of looking for the 'shock' after something really really nice has been done , especially when you say to them, ok whats this gonna cost me ... & you get that sheepish grin & the eyes go all puppy dog
Am sat here with a big cheesy grin.. Have just listened to my nephew and his Mom and Dad being interviewed pre the Oxford v York match on Sunday.......I am one very very proud aunt. Congrats Oxford
Not just boys who can be after something...I've teenage girls and long ago learned to shudder on detecting the aroma of Mr Sheen when I walked in through the front door....there was always a catch...usually discovering the fallout from the weekends jollities while I was away
But hey, this morning... prospect of no work till next Thursday, brekkie and coffee by the open french window, listening to snake davis playing sax and gentle summer breeze drifting through....simple pleasure but perfect
