well that is hard. She took an oath to serve her country until death. She was brought up to honour her oaths. she also watched what abidcation did to her father. I think if they found a way that she could retire/step down which did not require abdication then the Queen would consider it.

if it's in party fun mod, why not. If serious,and a good friend, you can only ever advise them of the error in their way, but folk will do what they want to do.
Bed socks and hot water bottle or electric blanket?
a HUGE cup ... preferably China but owt will do, espesh if you got custard creams (although it does have to be Strong n Sweet with a drop of milk) Rags!
