There was a Pink Floyd tribute band at the rally last weekend [darkside] so thats what I've been listening to.you just can't get the songs out of your head once you start.
Just started to look at this link and would like to say what a wide and varied choice everyone has and its great to know that I'm not alone. I agree an I pod gives you a variety but the radio is best which brings me to the reason for this message.
I listen to Planet Rock but think over the the last few months and more recently since its been taken over by Karrang its plummeted. The first was that they "misplaced" Rob Birney the best morning jock and then Nicky Horne, this was compounded by putting an American who thinks he's still talking to the half wits in America DISCUSS PS had the Allan Brothers live at the Philmore east this afteroon
Stokey Pan Man ... I too am a Planet Rock listener ... and it is going through a bit of a rut atm. However I don't think that Bauer (the owners of sister companies Kerrang! and Planet Rock) are necessarily to blame for this; most stations have a dip or a bout of 'sameyness' - i'm gonna stick with it cos I like the fact that every now and again they come up with a random track you aint heard in yonks and memories (good & bad) come flooding back.
Barley and Grape Rag - Rory Gallagher the other day .. I mean where else?!
As for Paul Anthony .. yeah he prattles on but at least he knows he is a JOKE
