Went to work, practiced my E-Stop when a Nice Lady Driver pulled out from a junction about 20m in front of me while going along at 30 MPH :( managed to stop about 1m away from her car as she stooped strait across the road in front of me :( a bit disappointed as I locked up the rear for about 5m :( but will get the hang of it LOL. I did say Lady Driver, but only about 80% sure it was a Lady as her side window had so much condensation on it I could hardly see the Drive LOL. The rest of the ride to work and home were uneventful LOL. Oiled chain and adjusted rebound on rear shock, need to remove shock at work and free up the waight adjuster as it is sized and I cant adjust it :(

I made it down 72 steps from my upstairs room to get to my bike and stroked her !! Soon - just 6 weeks to go and I can get back on .....

Done something I've never done before

Ridden ALL the way into town at 30/40 mph

It was SO hard to do

But I was at risk of not making the petrol station at my usual speeds

Never went above 70 mph coming back either

Another 1st

Pulled the rad, flushed it, de-corroded it, painted it ready to re-install on Friday with fresh coolant, ride on Saturday, nuff said : )

Kendal to Windermere to meet chums. Up to Ambleside then over to Coniston. Chips sat under a shadey brolley. Down to coast & Apple crumble ice cream at Roys ices....the north's premier ice cream van complete with view over Morecambe Bay. Back to Ulverston then up to Bowness & long cold drink in the pub

More wrong turns, getting split up, confusion & getting lost than ever, especially as we didn't actually venture that far....must be the heat

Been to work on bike everyday for over a week (normally walk and train).

Been razing into Derbyshire every evening and the long way home, even stopped for icecream yesterday.

Despite everything going on with the divorce I haven't felt happier in a long time :)

Run round the East Midlands, Small roads etc Up as far as somewhere called Oadby then found me way to the motorway ande back to Brum

The VFR750F got a little TLC today. valve check, oil change, cables adjusted and lubed, choke sorted, had to strip carbs to sort it out. New air/fuel mix screws and adjusted, new filters, brakes done.

Just need to balance carbs then its finished.

Time to ride and have fun.
