2 wee lads knocking my door and carol singing .................. well if you can call 'we wish you a merry christmas and a happy new year' (thats all they sang) as a carol, when i asked them what else they could sing they ran away lol
Bureaucracy! Took the bike for its MoT this morning, and all going well until we discovered the stop light bulb had blown. Sod's law, isn't it? OK, replace bulb and carry on. Bike passes test. But when the pass certificate is produced, it also comes with a failure certificate on two counts - front brake does not trigger brake light, back brake does not trigger brake light! The MoT man looked very embarrassed and said that was the way VOSA told them to do it. Blimey!
Had a similar thing last month, Wills...
Took my car for its MoT test last month and was told that it had passed with no problems. As I drove out of the test centre I noticed the suction mount for my sat nav was on the passengers seat and when I got home I noticed that I had been issued a failure notice for having an obstruction on the wind screen larger than 25mm...
(the only thing my sat nav obscures is a bit of my front bonnet!)
finally finsihing a marketing and finance assignment for the OU - and only a week late lol. Much relief and I can now try and catch up on the course work - ony 3 weeks behind and counting.
Building a snow man with my neighbours little girl ... well I built it she just posed next to it after I had finished
