there are too many managers (some way too overpaid) trying to justify themselves by making the nurses fill in too much paperwork which takes em away from proper nursing. It seems that they think that the nurses' job is to work in an office and hit targets. I know nurses who are completely frustrated and demoralised at the situation because they aren't doing what they want to do which is nurse.....plus they are overwhelmingly understaffed. They get paid a pittance for what they do and the hours they work and they are treated shockingly by some Trusts. They have employed people to run the NHS that have never EVER experienced what it is like to work on a ward or even begin to understand what is involved in nursing.
What gets your goat?
people going into management into a profession they know nothing of and start throwing the weight around, and changing tried and tested ways hmmm think what you just said sounds better lol lm a carer so know what you mean
