Not sure why, but it is definately different in the south. There are places to meet, like the Ace cafe, Rykas near Dorking (but that is mainly Sunday), Oakdene in Kent, Holly View in Kent etc. But none of them seem to compare with Squires and places like that in the north. It is also difficult to get the BMers to meet up down here, it happens but not often enough. Not to worry we must keep trying. Where shall I ride off to today?

Ragnar... I have bought 3 bikes off ebay and had no problems. All private sellers. It depends how you go about it. Solo or two up, I don't mind as long as pillion is experienced. Have you ever done a track day?

What ever the mileage is when it goes bang, I've gone around the clock on a few bikes when I was dispatching. What's the best motorcycle sport, track or motorcross?

davidneale @ 01/04/2013 21:58

what kind of trials?? court?? hahahahah .. i like watchign trials and motocross.. i had a go at trials before i did my test and it was darn hard work ... v v torquey bikes and respect to them what are good at it if you get stopped by police do you think best policy is to be "polite" or do you give em what for from the start? (comes to mind coz i got pulled today by "spot check" police flagged me down as i was riding along... luckily a car had flashed me to warn me earlier on the road )
