Been out first thing this morning 08.00- bham over to Leominster, back down through Worcester and up to Reddtich, no rain just lovely clear and dry road for a change, loved it.
sorted fuel problem finally...dropped forks through yokes 10mm to suit lowering links on back of tiger900..need to bolt on new tax disc and go for burn later in week...working nights...
went for a wee blat over to find me bike place who gonna do me Stage 1 for me was only meant to be 34 miles away.....
went straight past the turn off A1 and ended up at Pontefract services (i think!!!) ffs pmsl..... found two bikers and told em i was lost hahahaha..... map, borrowed pen and i was off back down the A1 and found me bike place
was a fabooooo ride even tho did about 40 miles over... got rained on a few times bt still brill and bike shop even better soooo excited
Got some more parts for my 'secret project' (which isn't that secret now I've post pics in my profile) .
Mocked up the rear wheel and seat to get an idea of the wheelbase and if it would look right. Now to just put some bends of tube between the wheel and frame and then I can make a real move on it.
Not sure yet if I'm going soft-tail or hard-tail ????
Yesterday and today.
Rode to Nottingham, with a little guidance from me mate Suzi, cos my satnav went belly up Saw some bands and even went to a Harley dealership. Almost got wiped out in outside lane of M1 by a Polish driver in a 12 seater. Twat. My heart did miss a few beats.
Today from Nottingham to BMF Peterborough'ish then back to London.
Had a brilliant weekend
Otley cafe for a late breakfast,then Squires via the scenic route,Blubberhouses,Pateley Bridge,past the Sun in then Harewood to Tadcaster,nice run out.
yesterday had a great tyime on my bike from Darby to Matlock to glosup to manchester to home drink then off to visit friends top day thanks rusty for the jacket and all the things i niched hugs xx
