bluesbiker why did my 10 bottles of Johnson baby oil make you smile, I told you it was to do an oil change on my bike being as she is my baby, honest its not for any other reason, Ok I know it's clear so won't show up in the spy glass but I am going to put some food colouring in it.
Seeing the look on my soul sister's face when she saw her flat. She has M.E., is only young, in wheelchair and was made homeless a few weeks ago. She was dreading the move as anything stressful makes her worse.
Managed to get her moved, unpacked, organised, hang pictures, put up new curtains, clean and make perfect. She was so chuffed and could just walk in & chill out in her new place. She expected it to take months for her to save up for the stuff needed for it to feel like home. Mission accomplished!
lovely people on bm,stella,cg and tigz thanks so much for your kind words. well done tigz, bet your sister is so happy to cg,missing a loved one is an awful feeling.
Thanks CG, Di n Cass. We'll do owt for the one's we love!
I'll admit to feeling a bit stressed about leaving her yesterday night...on her own in a new place...in Burnley so far away...gulp!
Pleased to report she had a restful night & is still looking round in a daze, chuffed to bits. She thinks she's caught my ADD as she keeps wandering n not remembering what she started doing!
Smile for today is knowing she's safe & happy!
...won't stop me driving back next wknd to check up on her tho!
Well done Tigz, with a sister like you she will always be loved, happy and secure carry on reporting how she is doing Tigz, its lovely to read a happy success story and to see how she is coping
Tigz wish I had such a lovely sister like you...you are an angel..
Today, what was special for me was not only reading about Tigz but visiting my Mum who I havent seen for a while...it was lovely to spend the day with her...I miss her so much...she lives so far away from me nowadays...she cant drive...so I have to go to her. Couldnt visit as my girls have had a bad cold and with Mum having a heart complaint I didnt dare go over until it had gone and the coast was clear...
Normally take my Mum out once a week, so it was lovely to spend quality time and hear about her trip to the NEC Food Show with my eldest sister whos bravely fighting breast cancer...it was lovely to know that both of them had a marvellous day.....
LOVE THEM TO BITS
Aaaaawwww that's lovely BC!!
We don't realise how well off we are until we come across others who deal with life's low blows on a daily basis!
Big hugs to your sister & mum!
Thanks 2 Nutkin...ur sweet! Rachel isn't my sister by blood, just by circumstance! lol I met her in September on a trip to Lourdes, where she was patient & me carer...we clicked and are now "big sis" & "li'l sis" 4eva!
I've only rung twice today...she's lovin her space and is still smiling...therefore so am i!
