Vivian Stanshall also did the narration on Tubular Bells,a bit of info for pub quiz types there.

That was lifted from the album I mentioned above "Keynsham" The track was "Intro Outro" Featuring "Adolf Hitler on Vibes" "Quasimodo on bells" He may have done it "again" for Mike Oldfield but it was on the Bonzo Dog album first, as far as I know

Mike Oldfield was recording Tubular Bells at Richard Bransons manor house at the same time as Viv Stanshall and was a bit of a fan,hence why Viv was asked to do his intros,as you say inspired by 'The Intro and the Outro'-The re-issue of Tubular Bells has a track (Sailors Hornpipe-Vivian Stanshall version) with Viv commenting on the artwork,'and under this masterpiece,an underpiece!'

My 'Intro and Outro' is on the cd of 'Gorilla'

John Cleese took Viv Stanshalls part on Tubular Bells 2003 for the pub quiz types
