Being out riding around Birmingham all day and then to MFN tonight with Marie and her son Harry..always love going to MFN...bumping into Helen at MFN with her partner Ian....that was lovely too!
Actually our holiday is in Devon and Somerset, but we fancied a trip to Cornwall. Ok, a good distance perhaps, but a lot closer from here than Pontefract!!
Having a lie in! Motorcycling holidays can be hard work lol!
1100 miles in five days actually riding can take it out of you. I could do with a week off now to recover.
Seeing Roachy in the bath last night after she got a bit over-excited with the bubble bath made me smile as well. Sorry, make that seeing Roachy's face in the bath last night after she got a bit over-excited with the bubble bath, cos that's all that was visible amongst a sea of foam lol!!
Watching kitty 'kill' everything that moved under the covers, it really has not got used to making its legs move together yet
Also counting sleeps 72 left till Egypt Ian & I have never boooked this far in advance for a holiday lol, last years was ok lets go.. ok we off in 2 weeks
Having a lie in after lots of early mornings and managing 850 miles on my own bike over four days of riding.
Realising after the weather we had from mid Wales and up and what it's like today, we didn't do too badly with the weather on our few days away. Wouldn't have wanted it any warmer than it was anyway, biking in heat isn't much fun - dry is what you want.
Seeing the pic of me in the bath - priceless!
Last day of school. . .HURRAH! Invented pin-the-body-part on the sex-ed model whilst imbibing copious amounts of leaving pressie wine! And YOU wondered what teachers got up to after 3:30! Looking forward to my fiirst (of many Ihope) BM pillion ride of the hols X Have fun you guys!
Thanks Ian for making my girls happy by letting them see Guiness kitties...awwwww they are SO SO cute...we have had a lovely evening..your new home is lovely..and the Blackbird is no longer a figment of my imagination LOL
This might seem a bit strange but I rode home from work this evening in the pouring rain...nothing strange in that you might think but it was quite pleasant when I went to work this morning so I had no wet weather gear with me.
trainers, jeans,t shirt, leather jacket and open face helmet....I was like a drowned rat but I had the biggest grin on my face
*the grin might be due to the aussies being 148 for 8 though!!*
