Looking forward to a girly day with BC who is on her way up here.
Thankfully my compo cheque has not cleared yet so I will not be able to blow it all
But I feel some serious shopping is in order, after all I have been on crutches for ages & not able to get any retail therapy done... & we are off on holiday in couple of months

Well the credit card was saved as BC came on her bike, not enough space in top box & my tank bag for a serious girly shopping trip lol.
However with Snake pass being closed at the moment it did mean we had a lovely traffic free drive to glossop for lunch
It was nice to get to know you better & discover we share a lot of the same views on things.

We just had a lovely chat, went & had lunch & then chatted some more

to Shell xx was a lovely day....really pleased we have finally met up! Nice to meet another lovely biking woman...who is genuinely lovely inside and out!!!! Good job I did come on up on Mini V....next time I will bring me bus...there's acres and acres of boot space!! THEN we can go and blow it!!! HE HE HE HE!
The ride up to and back from Shells was awesome..the views were absolutely breathtaking...it was my first long ride out on Mini V without L plates...and I had no real numpties go for me!!! I cannot believe the difference it made having the L plates off...I actually got respect!!!!
Finding out my friend's son was not too seriously hurt after being knocked down by a car outside school today...Luckily I was there to reassure him until the emergency services came and his Mum..it could have been much worse...he was lucky today..his guardian angel was looking out for him.

Glad to hear that the little one was not hurt, I think with kids the most pain is from the shock of it all happening to them, bet his mom was at her whits end, I know I would have been
My Consultant agreeing to do my second hip resurface. Pain free biking at last.
I better get out on my new bike and get some more practice in then Bluesbiker if your expecting to have pain free biking, riding out with me is a big pain anyone could have at the moment.
Joking apart I am glad they are going to sort out your other hip as I know how much pain it causes you when your on your bike now.
Finding out Drobess can camp over for two nights now not just one, heaven help the campsite this week end.
Maybe I should ask Matt to switch my karma off

The thing that really made me smile today (Tuesday) was phoning a dealer about some coils for my Duke and him saying :-
"sorry mate, I only sell em, dont know one from tuther"
But he redeemed himself when I asked if he could point me in the direction of someone who could help. He gave me a name and number and I kid you not, within 30 seconds of making the call, I had found a pair of coils !!

Ian your karma not moving is because everyone else makes longer posts, matt placed a post when putting about how its worked & it said something about little posts not counting towards your karma points but longer ones do you will have to look back through the forums I am afraid as am not sure what his wording was.
What made me happy ... Ian (Mr_P) & I booked our holiday , off to another part of Sharm in September, to the Oriental Resort, looks lovely & its had some rave reviews from people who have stayed there , this will be our 3rd trip out to Egypt in as many years each time a different part & we have never once had a bad holiday.
Coming into work & finding out that my best friend is pregnant & due to have her baby in February next year
I had asked her a few weeks ago when we were taling & she had blushed but not said anything
