Bad smash at traffic lights into work... didn't see it but the debris and position pointed to a car jumping the lights into the side of him,,, it was nasty. Bike was shoved across a dual carriageway and front of car completely flattened.

My mother has just passed away; she was 86, so not a bad innings. Died peacefully in her sleep, so no pain.
One memory - every time she saw a busker playing, she always stopped to listen, and put a coin in the hat.
So, friends, next time you hear a busker playing, give him a coin or two, and say 'in memory of XK's mother'.

Going through old stuff today and I discovered my toy Andy Pandy had all disintegrated and the foam stuffing was so perished it turned to dust. Gutted cos my dad made it for me when I was 4 and he passed away when I was 11.
