I felt totally miffed today, missing my buddy RK on the run through to Thirsk and (after making the decision to go on my own 'cos I haven't been on the bike in ages) leaving Cassie at home only to find Geoff, Roachy and XK had all made the trip through. Wish I'd taken her now .
We live and learn.

I remember going down the street on my back the bike four or five foot in front of me screaching like a banshee, I was only 18 at the time and just my luck every man and his dog was watching....it isn't a nice feeling...especially on my little Honda 125 superdream lol......but mate your in one peice thats what counts,
I'll keep my eyes and ears open, let me know the bike specs i will ask about down here see whats laying around peoples garages.

ha I remember dropping my zx6 bloody sidestand wasn't down properly I couldn't hold it up so I thought I an't scratching the paint so through my leg under the fairing hurt like hell but saved the bike result...
Was embarrassing lying there waiting for someone to come along and lift it off...(what an arse lol)
Some of us have made bigger fubar's at least yours was on ice mate

Thanks for the offer Mark, I got the fairing off and managed to straighten the bars and brackets so mainly fairing cracks, tank dent/scrape and my shiny new tailpipes all scratched
It'll be rideable by next weekend craig, ordered the plastic welding gear this aft (cheaper than a new fairing that's for sure!)
Must admit I never really got the just of crash bungs but not a mark on the engine or my new belly pan so not all bad news
johnny I put wheel/tyre dressing on the night before and forgot about it so only myself to blame, what a plank!

Happy today a long lay in then up an out on the bike.....and just got the cover back on and the first few drops of rain came down.....timing perfect....

I were gutted wen i woke up 2day and seen a gud covering of snow, n due to this the rideout from my club were cancelled
yep, the snow made me sad too! just as I thought spring was round the corner too.........plus more heavy snow forecast for next week too so Im told!!! Hope they've got that wrong..........we've ad enuf now!
The agro the broker gave me to insure Vinny ... I spoke to a girl last week who just quoted me, the guy I spoke to today had to go check this that & the other before he would honour the quote
