I understand completely how yr feeling Mick. I think i've got to make the dreaded trip to the vet in the morning too. My 14yr old cat Sox is in a bad way. I can see it in his eyes that he's had enough. Cant stop bloody crying tonight
aww Sorry to hear that DC ... I have an old boy (cat not Ian) that a couple of years ago I thought I would have to have put down, it turned out that he had a bad infection in one of the few teeth he had left in his head ...
£250 & 2 years on after having all the rest of his teeth removed he is still with us & still enjoying life.
I hope the outcome is just as good for you ... big hugs
Thanks Shell. He does have bad teeth, always has had, but last time he was de-scaled he was in agony for 2 weeks. Am not doing that to him again. Its happened very quickly, gone from fairly fit to knackered in less than a week. I'm 99% certain that its vital organ related. I dont want the lad to suffer any, so i'm not even going to put him through tests etc. I've known him long enough, we've been through a lot together, so its only fair i give him some dignity. Doesnt make me feel any better though
You have to be lot stronger to let them go
The cancer had come back in his eye was to much to put him through hes had good life. Been retired for five years now
Best wishes for tomorrow DC never easy
Having spoken to you last night DC I know it was something that you would only have had done if it was the only option left to you.
Sorry it didnt work out better but you gave Sox a great life & he filled yours as much as he could .
Big hugs hon
Finding out that the old stud hadnt just come loose and dropped out, but sheared the thread on cylinder head. . . looks like another couple of weekends before its back on the road now!!
