I have just saved a nice big £260 on my car insurance renewal!!!!
yehay!!!
recieved renewel notice from current insurers, took one look at figures and thought............ yeah right!!!!!! i dont think soooooo!!
did the ole search thingy online and found a great competitive quote, but it didnt include legal cover, so i took this quote back to my current insurers and not only did they match it, they have legal cover as standard!!!!!
just goes to show........ it pays to shop around!!!
just need a new car now....lol
ohhhhh
santa baby............. ????
Wish I'd sorted mine properly before renewal... didn't... forgot all about it cos it was around the time of my last operation...
Discovered I've been charged £60 for the "privilege" of having 2 named drivers on my policy, neither of whom will be likely to drive my motor again... yet when I call to try and cancel this cover, they want to charge something like £25 to take EACH name off the policy as a feckin' "admin" charge.
Yeah right! I think not!
£110 just to have 2 names carried on in error, then taken off the policy? I'm in the wrong business... Jeeeeeeezzzz... Next time I have the bright idea of adding someone to my insurance, tell me to wind my friggin' neck in would you?!
My thoughts exactly XK... I'm just in the process of trying to find somewhere safe I can dump the motor off road for 6 weeks before I tackle that task... be nice to SORN it and save a month's tax and insurance while I'm out of action...
Not having a great deal of luck though.
Still - one way or t'other I'll be taking my custom elsewhere - what a rip-off! I know it's my own fault for not sorting it out prior to renewal, but really...
Wannabe when I was renewing my car insurance I asked for two names to be removed from the policy as they would no longer be driving my car and was told if I remove them my premium would rise, work that one out, so they suggested I just left them on there, surely thats not right.
What made me smile today is the thought that I am going to have my first "meals on wheels" meal tonight, gosh where did those birthday years go.
Ok so it's not because of my age really, it's my daughter being kind because I am not well enough to go out shopping, have no food in and am not well enough anyway to cook anything. How lovely is she, when she works full time, has a 10 month old baby and a partner to care for to.
Leaving the house at 8.15pm... driving to Bluewater, getting EVERY Xmas pressie on t'list... having a bite to eat... pointing and laughing at the peeps falling over on the ice rink... buying such a gawjuss nightie I even fancy myself in it and making it home before 10pm!
Had surgery today and the consultant was pleased to say no cancer, which was something he was concerned (as was I) about. Just something much less serious giving me the problem and should all now be fixed! The drugs are helping make me smile too plus I got to come home tonight!
I smiled today because tomorrow i'll be in belper at the christmas bash!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
