The Doc in the A & E department of my local hospital, the tablets he prescribed gave me my first pain-free day in 14 months, I was so chilled out I fell asleep and missed my appointment with my own doctor. oops!

True!.....i took that non rider out for a blat...first time ever on the back of a bike..... i remember it well, perfect riding weather... rode as pilly friendly as i could....chose some ace roads, sweeping bends, nice safe fast straights etc....had a great time!....well, that is i did!!...when he got off, his exact words were..."You'll never get me on the back of one of those things EVER again"......GO FIGURE!!

A day spent in the company of family, including my wee cousin, bless 'er, who's just learned the art of the one fingered salute and displayed it proudly to the builders whilst announcing in her broad Belfast brogue "My Daddy says you've to pull yer fingers out, cos yer lazybones so y'are!"

(The builders are 2 months behind their expected completion date... so far... my cousin is 20 with the mental/emotional development of a child, so gets away with saying the stuff we daren't, cos it'd be impolite )

Followed by an evening in the company of good friends... I started leaving at about 10pm *ahem* Sorry!

Should've made me smile last night but by the time I got home I'd forgotten I'd been told to look behind my bin.

Been out twice today already and still missed it... but just took some rubbish out and there's a huge tin of Quality Street tucked behind the bin

Course... they're frozen solid... but never mind eh?!

I'd just take them out Lou, stick the whole block on a stick and walk around the house all day licking your Quality Street lolly! That conjures up images that I really shouldn't be having. Especially considering that I am well within punching range of someone right now!!
