My daughter booking the day off work, and taking me out for lunch as a birthday treat...*sighs*....seems like only yesterday i was feeding her sat in a highchair, making a right old mess down her bib.....
Guess the next stage will be her feeding me, n dealing with the mess i make down mine!!
Hey Wannabe...... it wasnt the orangutan was it???? he he...
My daughter made me smile today when i saw her face as i produced a big choccy advent calender!!! ( i had told her yesterday that all the shops had sold out and i couldnt get one anywhere!!)
i know... wicked mum i am...
I'm getting a little bit worried by all these reports of southern shenanigans. Nature seems very red in tooth and claw south of the Thames. Will we northerners be able to cope as and when we make the journey into this unknown land? Refined BikerMatch tea dances in sedate Matlock and garden parties in la-di-dah Liverpool may not be enough preparation for life in the great southern jungle, I fear. Pith helmets all round...but do the orangutans take the pith darn sarf?
That particular orangutan was the lesser-spotted variety... I'm fairly certain he was an experienced pith-taker...
We will happily accommodate the more refined requirements of our Northern cousins Wills and Jeeves has already been instructed to de-crust the cucumber sarnies dontchaknow?
We've been practicing holding our tea-cups with our little fingers extended *just*so*, so hopefully you won't feel too much like a fish out of water
