I learned last night that an old mate of mine died yesterday,he finally succumbed to cancer and from what I understand,it was a blessed release in the end from the pain he was quite plainly in.
He was a big man of over 6 feet and as strong as an ox but as kind and gentle a man as you would ever wish to meet, always ready with a joke and a laugh.
You will be missed Neville, rest in peace mate.
sorry for you news ponds, what made me sad....seeing LC leave this morning, it will only be 5 days till we see each other again, but it feels like a lifetime.....
Sorry to hear that Pond, condolences. What made me sad was remembering that today is officially the last day of summer for me. Back to the winter grindstone now
Realising that you was the only single person at a wedding..when everyone else was in a couple or a couple with a family....you stand out like a sore thumb....the last wedding that my girls and I went to was my own to my late husband...seeing my little girl Hayley cry having her hair done at the hairdressers in the morning! My heart nearly broke in two because I knew she was crying about her Daddy...
