Ruby, there will be no fight ! Not from him anyway. My own stupidity,i put it down then when i turned back around in the words of the motherland (Wales) "There it was,Gone !"I actually looked at him as he was asking his 2-3 year old daughter in the best mentally deficient language he could muster " Where is that f**kin bitch now,his wife or girlfriend i presume. The face is ingrained in my mind forever. As for the free drinks off my mates that would rank alongside the parting of the waters or turning water into wine in the realms believability. Thanks for the support anyway.

Bc they're maybe all frightened you'll try n sell em the bike lol

Is putting it in part-x not an option? There's some fantastic deals to be had at the mo n you'll get good money off for your bike?

LOL at RK....they probably are...mind you it hasn't stopped them wanting to come to my meet....lol

I haven't the money to buy a new one..wish I had....and I cannot get finance....they did look at my bike and the most trade in they would give me is 1200...not good....particularly when Ive seen them in Bob Minions....same reg same mileage for £2350!!!!

Ive got mine in at £1895...I even said I would let it go for much less to someone my instructor knows but they havent been interested...but I cannot get anyone to come and have a look at her...not one phone call..Ive advertised her twice in Bike Trader and twice in MCN..its costing me a small fortune....in Admag..my local post office..at bike meets...everywhere....someone MUST want my lovely Mini V....

Im now considering Ebay and I hate Ebay...I dont trust it...I will be the mug that gets stung..knowing my luck at the moment lol

Like I said on another thread BC, bike prices are falling and people are findin it hard to shell out nearly 2k on a 'toy'. I've bought 2 caravans off ebay and tons of other stuff and never been stung. Just don't let anyone see where you store the mini-v and you want cash in your hand before anyone gets their arse near it! I think it's probably the only place you'll sell it quick but be prepared to accept less than you expect and don't forget the final valuation fee, it's a bit of a stinger on 2 grand! Pity I booked my little weekend at the same time as your do, would love to have come n met everyone!

It is such shame....you will have to come down another time with my friends from NA....Marie and Dave...they are riding down to my meet...I know...I am prepared ...wonder what the valuation fee would be....

It's about 10% at the mo BC so you're looking at £150ish on top of the insertion fees, quite a chunk!! I just sold a nice watch n a couple of other bits n had to stump up just over £100 last month in fees, gutted!

Motors on EBAY are quite low to sell in truth generally cheaper than listing in Motor Mart et-al Only cost me £13 to list the hearse, but it sold private before the end of auction. Read the small print on there Rose and calculate what you really want and put that as your reserve As RK says cash in hand no test rides! And try not to show where the bike is stored!

sad when good active members leave because of unnecessary bickering on the forums and postings which come across as being unfriendly from a site which I know promotes the opposite. Come on folks, we want our popular members to stay long term and genuine long term friendships to develop and last via BM as well as welcoming and encouraging new members to join!!! I remember how friendly and welcoming the BM site and members were when it first started and that's what encouraged me to join and return. Please dont let that change, there is enough crap and bickering in the real world, lets make sure it's not the same in here too!! Ian will be sorely missed Im sure, but I wish him well and hope he stays in touch with the friends that he has made on here still!
