The more experienced rider of our trio spent last weekend touring the North of Scotland with his wife, but scrubbed his tyre through to the canvas so had to hire a car to get home.
Today we found out where they had recovered his bike to, so the other one of the trio and myself rode the 30 miles to the garage, took a picture of us both repairing his rear tyre and texted it to him!!
(Now, when he enters a corner, he will have a subliminal image of us working on his rear tyre and maybe just back off a litlle....)
Then we blatted back on some amazing country roads with barely a car to be seen...
