I can't find my V5 for my bike, it's gotta be in the house somewhere. I don't know why it's not where I keep all my other bike documents, in a folder. It's £25 for another one from the DVLA.
A test rider at work was killed in an RTA today. We don't as yet know the curcumstances, this guy was good, really good so it has sharply bought home the danger of what we do.
RIP Bruce.
I feel physically sick when I read or hear about a fatal bike "accident"
It often turns out to have been totally "avoidable"
As Mark says sounds like a SMIDSY
What really galls me is that they are invariably telling the truth !
Either through not looking, or not seeing when they look
Or not being able to see properly due to defective vision.
Eyesight tests should be compulsory on all concious people involved in RTA's, at the scene.
I think it would reveal an alarming number of "blind" drivers who drive without corrected vision in the arrogant belief that they can see well enough.
One quick observation of a numberplate at the time of the test is never going to address the situation. It makes my blood boil.
I started to post this on the condolence thread but thought it more appropriate here.
So it may start with familiar words but I really must impress upon you all the need to be VERY CAREFUL out there.
Even the very best and most experienced riders are at the mercy of the selfish ignorant drivers who are too preoccupied with their own little mission that they endanger every motorcyclist out there.
To paraphrase anothers post on the subject they are "all out to get you"
We would all do well to remember that !!
hitting the wrong button on a email mail merge. Duh... have have just sent out a 50 emails. and had to recall them all. Dam dam dam dam dam. I can tell it is Friday,,,

I get you Emzed yesterday I thought I was invisible it was like trying to pick my way through a swarm of bees with the ammount of ignorent drivers who just did not consider my position to them as a problem, tootelling along filtering as I allways do, I'm always very aware of dick heads or silly bitches aplenty who just DO NOT LOOK or ignore what they see thinking "oh I'll just pull out now because I CANNNNN" fookers I litterally lost count Thursday of how many did this Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Sorry for the loss Ghosty just glad I'm not pilly with him to the great roadways in the sky :o( could have been a few times yesterday (If I'd been travelling faster or not awake I really could). Dam dam dam mutter mutter, got to so much work to do and I want to go and play. sulkin..........
Had a near miss this evening from a pillock who didn't see me coming and pulled straight out in front of me then panicked slammed all on and stopped blocking both sides of the road. Pulling out of a bike they didn't see is bad enough but I was driving a damn big Renault van with the headlights on at the time!!
Me too DC had bad tummy acid for last couple of days and cannot sleep, shocked my son and stayed at my house and had next doors alarm go off at 4.30, why he has to have it go off then when he doesn' work I have no idea!
Hey Steph.. I've had one or two of them just lately, hope things are better today, mate.
Lol @ Shell.. thats lads for ya! hope you're feeling better too.
Me, sad cos first day back to work since Thursday.. REALLY don't want to go..... ahhh well....
Its not so much the fact that it goes off at that time, its the fact that he has it on full blast & leaves it on for about an hour!!!
I am sure he sleeps in the back bedroom & ignores it
