Just a quick 50 mile round trip out to Lower Lode Inn,Forthampton for a lunchtime pint ,weather scorching, and it's Father's Day... Then refilled Scottoiler and re-routed pipe so better aim onto sprocket..
Evotech do one but I will check out Beowulf thanks Jinx. Ironically I only got round to putting the free one year RAC assist card in my wallet this morning, serendipity or self destiny?
Got repaired radiator back yesterday and refitted it. Tonight the cooling system was topped up and an Evotech rad guard was fitted to hopefully prevent a repeat of last Sunday. Then it was out to play via Saltburn, Whitby, Pickering and home. 111 miles in total with an excellent super spooky mist over the top of Sutton Bank, speed reducing but grin inducing!
Ridden down to LA Lune(30km from Le Mans) on mostly empty French A roads in ever warmer weather.. And the French do halfway decent cidre too..biking bliss..tomorrow is Castles and Vineyards..:)>
Today was soggy to start with, but went into Brulon seeking ATM and some wandering about... rain persisted, so rode back to dry out my leathers... hoping tomorrow's visit to LeMans in bit drier..:)
A visit to LeMans ..walkabout and museum some gorgeous four AND two wheeled stuff (is very car orientated).. Massive thunderstorm whilst inside, outran it on way back..a nice explore of the back roads..:)
Lots of kilometres since breakfast.. now sipping cidre and munching Carrefour sticks,on a comfy bench in the sun...overnight chambres d'hote quite close to Calais...:)
Saturday...a quick canter to Calais,Eurotunnel earlier than expected, then the nightmare that is M20,M26,M25,M4 to home...makes you appreciate just how EMPTY French roads are...:)>
Gave up thinking about mowing the lawns,or cleaning Rudolph, just cruised gently to The Lower Lode Inn,for a lazy pint and chips, took the long, scenic route home via the Malvern Hills...:)>
