Seeing all my friends from Craggy's getting their letters from the administrators yesterday to say that they weren't getting paid & seeing the shutters go up on the building.
For the past 11 years Craggy's has been my social life - there's a cafe bar tied in with the company that's just across the road from me, so it's where I went when feeling stressed, lonely or had cabin fever from being stuck in the house!
I'll miss em all, it sounds very selfish of me I know - these people have lost their jobs, i've just lost my social life...can't compare it, but I just feel like there's been a death in the family!

Just spent a sweaty and oily 20 minutes wrestling the back wheel into the Diversion after putting in new wheel bearings. Then discovering I'd forgotten the friggin chain!!! Comes though have had a succession of shaft drive bikes. Well, that's my excuse and I'm sticking to it (and no, I don't have a chain breaking/riveting tool, before you ask)
Need a new chain Wills?
You can order them with a split link or rivet link, to take old one off just use an angle grinder to take off two rivet heads then the chain will prise apart. Or feeling energetic hacksaw but be very careful where you choose to cut.

im gutted cos i neva made it 2 shires due 2 wakin up at 3 this mornin in agony, pain in me butt, down me leg n foot, i cant sit down, walk or move far...2 painful, went 2 docs n then 2 accident n emergancy, ad 2 stand up in waitin room propped against a wall, doc says i av acute sciatica, neva felt pain like it, am now layin on the settee feelin very sorry 4 meself wiv all me pain killers in easy reach.
I'm very sad.................the b****y baler has broken down............when we have hay to bale! The mechanic was here for hours.................and it's still not playing nicely!

Well I had fab day went over to Vents shop for a few hrs then we went to pub for dinner ....WE had SKIPPY !!!! for dinner yummmmmmmmmmm not had that for a while lol

Feeling a complete tw*t, hurt pride more that owt, eveny my eyes leaked..just a little bit, but still felt like sh*t.
My first solo ride there, was feeling good, after the crap week ive just had, ah well.. lots of leaky eyes when i got home. Then a good chat to someone who made me laff agen. Thanks alot, u know who u are.
Thanks also to the lovely couple who picked Zig up for me, then rode back with me to make sure i got home ok, even tho they were from Sheffield. Dint get theirs names, hope i see them agen so i can thank them, my heds a shed, but least I'm ok and Zig will get a shiny new brake lever. I did think of more blue tape, but apparently that wuddent have worked...?!!? ahhh well...
Aww Kaz, you've experienced my worst nightmare. Glad it was only yr pride that was hurt though. You did very well to ride home again, i'd have probably 'took mi bat n ball home'(kaz will know what i mean!)

Steph, cheers mate.. yep, was busy anorl, my own fault i guess. I was parked up on the slanting part. I nearly took mi bat n ball home, thought i cant ride ont back brake alone, but the sheff couple were ace, kept at a steady pace and crawled up to lights when they were on red, so that i dint havta stop etc, Cudda been worse.. cudda done a dominoes affect on a line of sports bikes i guess!!
