my face book is sad, sage brush blowin across the screen, hit a key an it echoes!but a goddess apeared on it the other day a bloody miracle she liked the group pic on the seafront so could be Dave Dave Dave or Dave she likes!!![or wannabe or scary
Have spent the last few hours watching 'TV on demand' on virgin, in particular 'The secret millionaire'......its heartwarming to see those better off than ourselves, helping those worse off than ourselves. Some of the programmes have brought a tear to my eye. Brilliant TV
Coming home from shopping this morning to find yet more water coming from my kitchen ceiling. So the water supply to the house is now turned off. I will have to have a beer instead of a cuppa.
Knew I should have waited before having a water meter fitted
Went to see bluesbiker today in hospital, (only went there as I don't have any working loo's) he is doing really well and may even come out tomorrow, he is almost running up and down the ward. Hard to believe that only Wednesday he had his surgery.
Di I hope your recovery is as fast
I reckon the big biker in the sky was smiling down on me earlier today.
Was chased by some SERIOUS black clouds for at least 20 miles, thought on more than one occasion that my luck was up, and a good n proper soaking was imminent! (Distinct lack of waterproofs as well i should add!)
Wasn't to be though, i got away with it, JUST!! And i do mean just as well, i had barely shut the front door, and the heavens opened BIG TIME!!
Felt like he/she had been hanging on to it especially for me! (because i am special, unique and different don't you know):o)
You win some you lose some hey?! Was my turn today, makes a flippin change!!
Where does the time go?
Had a great laugh with one of my mates who rang today, just talked general rubbish, joked and laughed that only friends can do who are on the same wavelength - happy times

Glad its done Di. Helps to have a specialist hospital thats nice and quiet with no A&E. Really hope your experiance of the NHS is as good. Say hello to all at Oggy's for me.
Pleased for you Blues, hope you'll be galavanting around soon, you too Di (soz not sure what you're going thro, not had chance to read all the posts)
Nice to see Arf posting again
I had to smile at this otherwise I'd go insane...
I was visiting at a Liverpool hospital this afternoon and on leaving had to make a right turn. It's a dual carraigeway, so cross to the centre reservation, wait for a car to go past from left to right, then pull out.
Frantic squawk from my passenger (I was in the car, BTW). While I was still checking all was clear on my left, the car that had just gone past had stopped, dead, in the right-hand lane.
He was programming his satnav, FFS!!!!
I give up. I really really do.
It's not a hospital with an A&E, so no urgent treatment for car crashes outside the gates. There is a psychiatric unit, but when they accept lunatic drivers is another matter
for ghosthunter and any other folk who are in need of a hug
I'm thinking of starting up a 'virtual hug' business, I'd be rich and skint at the same time cos I'd be my own most frequent customer
