caught a would be thief in my brother-in-laws house in the afternoon , had a long rusty screwdriver concealed in his waistband , my wife her sister and myself overpowered him and he was arrested ..sad about this happening just before we depart .
No hot water or heating for the second time this week. A plumber came round earlier this week and goodness knows how he got my boiler going again but said if the problem came back to reset the boiler and if it couldnt be reset call my letting agent...Came home at 4pm to find boiler kaputt...and I tried resetting it...no joy..rang IMS lettings who said they would contact my Landlord, who would then organise a plumber...three phone calls later at 6pm IMS was shut, I cant get hold of my Landlord direct and of course theres no plumber...so Ive got no heating....am freezing..and still have no hot water (combi boiler with no tanks!!!) and noone seems to be bothered..Its Bank Holiday weekend and my girls need a bath and wash their hair so they can get into clean clothes...but no joy!!!
Truly fed up now..trying to wash pots with boiling kettle...not much fun...I need a shower!!!
Having a mate let me down today when we were supposed to be going out, and realising that being seperated means relying on mates made me sad..
Yesterday was a sublime ride though, so all in all the bank holiday was a success..
Suppose this should be in "what made you happy" but finally spending time with my kids, they needed hugs before I go away again tomoz! Still sad that I have to go though, haven't given them much time as it is these past few yrs, been to preoccupied trying to find my own happiness.

Still no joy with landlord and letting agent with my boiler broken...Being made a fool out of in front of many BM members...when Im a generous kind hearted woman who has no malice just wants to be treated with respect! Never ever had a man be faithful to me! Why is it that a lovely lady like me gets treated like a second class citizen! Life is not fair...it sucks...
B C phone a solicitor for advice, or mention solicitors to the letting agent it may make 'em get their finger out and get it sorted. Ask 'em if there will be a refund on the rent cos you aint had all the facilities that were offered when you took up the let.
BC really feel for you and know where your coming from but please don't let anything like this get you down again after all you have come a long way since you have had your bike, yesterday is history, tomorrow a mystery, today is a gift thats why we call it the present. (not sure I have written that right but reads how I mean it) if we didn't have sad unhappy things happen then we wouldn't recognise the Happy things and appreciate them. or another way of looking at life is we can't change what happened in the past but we can use it to make us stronger to face our tomorrows.
Without wanting to upset anyone as its not meant that way but don't you think this sort of thing between two bm folk should be done via pm's instead of on here.
Rose,deposit your rent with a solicitor and tell landlord you will pay rent when he fulfills his care of duty.Legal and guaranteed to make him get his finger out.
Make yourself a list of what you want from a relationship,not material stuff but how you wanna be made to feel,then another one of how you don't want to be made to feel.read and reinforce it daily and trust in the universe,when you clear all the clutter and concentrate on what really matters,magic really can happen

Thanks everyone for your advice about my landlord...I've played merry hell about it today...threatened to withhold my rent...and guess what they can't get any Baxi engineer out to me until Monday...so my letting agent has told me to put an official complaint in writing....apparently if I withhold rent they will get it from my Father's bank account, who acted as a guarantor..and he's a pensioner..so I'm being held to ransom....so it will be a fortnight without heat and water with three children...Luckily Ive shipped my eldest to her Nans in Leek...and we managed to have some luxury whilst away...running water seemed such a luxury...makes you realise how lucky you are!!! So I don't whiff just yet!! LOL...
