Well if I ever get through it and progress to something bigger than a 125, I'll pop up to Staffs and we'll go on a ride-out together CG I think it does help to have someone to go out with on bikes. It's made extra hard when you're first starting out and trying to build your confidence up... you need some other newbie riders in your area CG. Is it worth asking around the local DAS Instructors? There are quite a few round this way who organise Sunday ride-outs for new riders.

Out for a sunset blast for an hour..... only seeing 3 cars..... riding up the side of a mountain, dipping my head in a low cloud and riding down again.... ...Life is good!

I belong to two bike clubs the one is an owners club but we don't seem to have many ride outs lately, the other is a great bunch of mixed style riders but there ride outs always seem to start a good 20 plus miles away from me, then I also go to Rospa bike club and have done a couple of observed rides with a trainer but haven't had a trainer with them for about a year now, some of this is my fault for not pushing it. I also have a couple of girls local to me but trying to get time out with them is awkward as they are younger and have young families. I also think sometimes being a cruiser bike rider puts people of riding with me. On a smiley note rode to the pole tonight got to say hello to loobylou, Road angel, Lula, bluesbiker, Kate and Vmaxdeg so had a great night lots of smiles as I rode home as felt my riding has come on in leaps and bounds lately and yeah its rights what people say it's miles in the saddle that make this happen. Thanks bluesbiker for changing your route home so Roadangel had someone to ride most the way home with. sorry to those that came back to mine for the usual coffe and moo biscuit break promise to re stock up for next time, anyway whats wrong with weight watchers biscuits.

Realising it only takes a week off the bike to go rusty. Still it made for some enjoyment, I'm not used to this ammount of daylight playtime!

Had a good ride via the scenic route to Devils Bridge. Been out all day and done nearly 200 miles, which for me is something of an achievement. And no aches or pains! Feeling quite pleased with myself now
