A big welcome to all newbies, any of you not sure about joining in on the forums, or in the chat room, don't be shy come and join in, can't promise you'll keep any sanity you may have but you'll have a laugh while trying to hold on to it
and those of you who don't 'do' forums or chat rooms we hope you'll join in at one of the many B M events that the other members organise, or public events they attend, we'd love to meet you there.
See 'Events' page and add your name to any of the events you'd like to go to then keep your eye on the forum to see who is meeting up with who and where.
Hi, newbie in all senses here.
Have loved bikes since I was around 18 but allowed myself to be put off (mostly by blokes). At the ripe age of 42 decided to sit my CBT in June this year. I've got a Hyosung Cruise II which I'll pick up next week once it passes it's MOT. Bought my L-plates today. Must admit, I was a tad excited at doing so. Cannot wait to get out there.
Anyway, that's me, so Helloooooo
Welcome JQ...good on you Girl!! I did mine this year at the age of 42 after years of being put off by my late hubby and previous boyfriends...so if we can do it...(Marie, Jansky and myself!!) then so can you...GOOD LUCK...
Ps..there are old threads about the new test etc...
so if we can do it...(Marie, Jansky and myself!!) then so can you...GOOD LUCK...
and me lol
I've done a CBT 4 times now, I'm thinking of writing a book on how NOT to pass your test
Hi and welcome to the site jeanzqueen
Thanks all for the support. I'm hoping I don't let the big scarey cars, buses and lorries put me off now. I've warned my mates to watch out for me crying at the roadside
Oooh it's all very exciting stuff. I've recently started a part-time uni course so once I get a wee bit more confident, I'm sure a run here and there will help to clear my head.
