Front brake pads fitted , tyre pressures checked, oil checked, most of the luggage sorted, just got to chuck it on tomorrow and it's off to the Farmyard and a few well needed beverages
Well I've done quite a bit of riding recently, and I looked at my mileometer, and I've ridden 6,058 miles since passing my test! Most of these miles were miles with smiles lol
Run out from the Snatch rally to get a full English brekkie and home for a quick shower , oops got carried away 126 miles, rally is only 20 miles away :-)
I was heading out to tonafanau race meeting near tywyn west wales with my son on pillion, we only got as far as the rhug café on the A5 before the monsoon got us.....bugger!!!
We were utilising the sunshine to scarify my grass, n reseed it. When we finished we decided to go for a zoom around, as we put our lids on we realised the sky had gone 70 shades of black, what the heck, out we went!
Wish we had taken a bar of soap with us, we would have been cleaner when we got back than when we set off!
Wet to skin all way through, we did go out in jeans though ... Yes, yes, yes, i know stupid but hey i came back with a huge smile on my face. It was fab, thunder, lightning my gawd its soooo exciting!
Took the BSA to the Winking Man, nice ride, weather was mostly fine, got wet on way back but dried out by the time I got home, not much dropped off this time though a couple of bits came loose, nothing a spanner and an allen key can't sort.
