replaced the head gasket to cure an oil leak, gave it the wash it should have had before I put it away for winter then went to montford bridge café in Shropshire

Rear wheel puncture on way to work this morning. Not had the AA out in 10 yrs now twice in a week.
Managed to get enough air in to limp home and swap bikes.

Both wheels removed from Yam, exhaust off, oils drained, might as well take advantage of the puncture situation.

Cleaned and lubed the chain, removed all the fairings and treated her to a bit of muc off then drained and replaced the oil. Then started her up and wished she was a 600 lol

Fitted new front and rear tyres, replace front and rear brake pads. All ready for it's MOT on Friday, just in time for a wet Bank Holiday weekend ride out.

stripped rear end panels so as to get to the Meta alarm that went pop on me on Sunday whilst setting off for Matlock Bath, Put in the new module and the R1 IT'S ALIVE!!, I can stop fretting now

Drained the tank and carbs on the Honda and gave it some fresh fuel. I had forgotten the old fuel must have been sitting for two years . Although it sounds and runs well.
