Went on the Brandon's Memorial Ride, from streetbike to bridgnorth... Was great 300+ bikes. Felt so good taking part and had a great time. Then went to Ponderosa with a group of bikers. Smiling from ear to ear... will sleep well tonight.
I am smiling because I can't believe that this thread I started so many years ago to help get people to post happy things rather than negative sad things is still going strong.
Oh, heck, Joey... A few years ago, I left a bunch of flowers on the doorstep of a girl I was meeting later that day with a message about how much I was looking forward our liaison. I thought it would be romantic if I knocked on the door and rode off before she answered it.
She came in to the pub that evening with a face like thunder. When she'd gone to answer the door, her dog had eaten the quiche she'd just prepared for herself.
My fault, apparently.
While in Bath city today I saw the smallest elderly woman I think I have ever seen. My work partner said she's probably really miserable, so I said "She won't be after I give her a big bear hug" and done the motion, He just laughed at me.....she was so cute. Loving being in Bath city this week, what a lovely place.
